MSG-048 Experimentation Meeting November 2009

Dear Meeting Participants:

We are looking forward to your participation in the November 2-6 meetings at George Mason University. We will be meeting at the Verizon Center on the Prince William Campus located at 10900 University Boulevard, Manassas, Virginia 20110. Parking will be provided for the conference and you will receive a pass as you register.

Please let us know what days you are attending by RSVP to c4i@c4i.gmu.edu.

If you arrive by air or train, we recommend you rent a car as public transportation at Prince William Campus is limited. Driving directions are at the end of this email.

Morning coffee and light refreshments will be provided by the host. There will be a sandwich buffet at lunch each day for $10. We are unable to take credit cards, so please bring cash. A receipt will be provided.

For hotel accommodations, we have a block of rooms at the Courtyard Manassas Battlefield Park, 10701 Battleview Parkway, Manassas, VA 20109. Reservations can be made on-line at: http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/MNZCH?groupCode=MSGMSGA&app=resvlink&fromDate=11/1/09&toDate=11/6/09.

If you would prefer a double bed to a king, please change the event code to MSGMSGB. The room block will be held until 19 October 2009, so please make your reservations before that date to insure the discounted rate. If you would prefer, you can make reservations by calling the Marriott reservations line at 1-800-321-2211 or the hotel directly at 703-335-1300. Please reference the C4I Center MSG-048 meeting Ref. #1-ZDK4VV to receive the $93 a night hotel rate.

From I-66, take Exit 44, Route 234 South (Prince William Parkway). Travel approximately 4 miles, and turn left at University Blvd. The Prince William Campus will be on your left. Turn left at Freedom Center Boulevard, then turn left at Edwin King Lane to enter campus. */Note:/ All eastbound lanes of I-66 inside the Beltway are restricted to HOV-2 from 6:30 am to 9:00 am and all westbound lanes of I-66 inside the Beltway are restricted to HOV-2 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Turn left at Freedom Center Boulevard, then turn left at Edwin King Lane to enter campus.

*DIRECTIONS TO PRINCE WILLIAM CAMPUS (10900 University Blvd., Manassas, VA 20110) from I-95 & Eastern Prince William County:* >From I-95, take Exit 152B (Route 234 - North, to Manassas). Travel approximately 19 miles on Route 234 North; it becomes Prince William Parkway. One half mile past the Route 28-Manassas interchange, turn right on University Blvd. The Prince William Campus is on the left. Turn left at Freedom Center Blvd, then turn left at Edwin King Lane to enter campus.
