EXPERIENCE

1990-present, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. Associate Professor, Systems Engineering; teaches courses in Systems Engineering and Multisensor Data Fusion; and Associate Director, Center of Excellence in Command, Control, Communications, and Intelligence; conducts research related to C3I systems and multisensor data fusion and sensor management.

1982-1990, Decision Logistics, President. Started and operated a consulting company that specializes in applications and research of decision analysis and artificial intelligence. Research focused on the development of software systems for the optimization of simulation-based training systems and for data fusion and situation assessment in a tactical military setting.

1990, Associate Professorial Lecturer, George Washington University. Taught courses in Productions/Operations Management involving basic operations research methods with applications in microcomputers.

1976-1982, Manager and Senior Decision Analyst, Decisions and Designs, Inc. Managed eight analysts (Ph.D. and M.S.) in applications and research of decision analysis, operations research, and psychology to decision and training research problems.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Development, analysis, and evaluation of alternative forms of uncertainty management; problem structuring approaches for decision analysis; multisensor data fusion and sensor management; systems engineering methodologies.
