He will take for a whirlwind tour of those critical topics, explaining how they fit together to capture a critical technology focus for today’s high-tech businesses.
BOB GOURLEY is a co-founder and partner of Cognitio and the publisher of CTOvision.com and ThreatBrief.com. Bob’s first career was as a naval intelligence officer, which included operational tours in Europe and Asia. Bob was the first Director of Intelligence (J2) at DoD’s cyber defense organization JTF-CND. Following retirement from the Navy, Bob was an executive with TRW and Northrop Grumman, and then returned to government service as the CTO of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Bob was named one of the top 25 most influential CTOs in the globe by Infoworld. He was selected for AFCEAs award for meritorious service to the intelligence community, and was named by Washingtonian as one of DC’s “Tech Titans.” Bob was noted as “Most Influential on Twitter for Big Data” by Forbes. Bob’s most recent book, The Cyber Threat, provides business executives with actionable insights into the threat landscape.

As Brocade’s Federal Chief Solutions Architect, STEPHEN J. WALLO is responsible for the personnel resources of the solutions architect and storage engineering teams as well as the evangelism of Brocade’s full software and hardware portfolio. His coverage model includes all of the Federal Government and specializes in how Brocade products fit into and complement current technology trends and directions. Stephen is also responsible for leading the Solutions Architect Team in demonstrating and designing solutions for strategic opportunities across Brocade’s Federal business.
Stephen has more than 26 years’ experience in data center networks, storage systems and server technologies. Before becoming a solutions architect, he was one of Brocade’s Principle Systems Engineers working with the top federal accounts in the design and development of data center architectures for all aspects of the federal government worldwide.
Prior to joining Brocade, Stephen was the Chief Architect for the U.S Navy’s Air Combat Environmental Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF) as well as the manager of Navair’s High Performance Computing Center – East. In both positions he was in charge of the design, integration and operations of the data center resource as they related to the center’s core mission in support the US Navy.
Stephen has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
